In Tuesday's non-league outing, the New London Whalers (New London, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), by a margin of 63-36.
The Whalers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Saints go into the Eastern Connecticut I outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, St. Bernard smashed Waterford (Waterford, CT), 60-43, in a non-league outing.
The Centaurs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Ledyard for a non-league outing on Friday, January 6. Woodstock Academy will clash with a Colonels squad coming off a 74-53 league loss to Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 0-6.
