Pemberton Hornets (Pemberton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northern Burlington Greyhounds (Columbus, NJ), 64-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Pemberton upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ) to play the Indians in a Burlco - Patriot bout on Thursday, January 5. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Pennsauken lost 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Westampton Tech (Westampton, NJ)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Medford Tech Jaguars (Medford, NJ) in a Burlco - Liberty bout, on Thursday, January 5. Northern Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 66-58 non-league loss to Lenape (Medford, NJ).
