Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oakridge Owls (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Shelton Chargers (Dallas, TX), saw Oakridge's basketball squad wallop Shelton by a count of 59-37.

With the victory, Oakridge upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Cistercian (Irving, TX) to play the Hawks in a Southwest Prep - North challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.

Next up, the Chargers play the Brook Hill Guard (Bullard, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Shelton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Guard come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Beckville (Beckville, TX).
