Oswego Indians (Oswego, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS), 53-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oswego upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Marmaton Valley (Moran, KS) to play the Wildcats in a Three Rivers bout on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Marmaton Valley won 66-45 in their recent non-league bout against Uniontown (Uniontown, KS)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Uniontown Eagles (Uniontown, KS) in a Three Rivers bout, on Friday, January 6. Yates Center will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 66-45 non-league loss to Marmaton Valley (Moran, KS).
