Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers (Springfield, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School Panthers (Holyoke, MA), 79-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Putnam Vo-Tech upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Beavers host Holyoke (Holyoke, MA) to play the Purple Knights in a Valley bout on Thursday, January 5. The Purple Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Holyoke won 63-43 in their recent league bout against Chicopee (Chicopee, MA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Sabis International Bulldogs (Springfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
