The Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Swampscott Big Blue to 58 in the Tanners league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tanners now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Fenwick for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 15. Peabody Veterans Memorial will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-7.
The Big Blue (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Falcons enter the Northeastern - Small contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Danvers triumphed over Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA), 54-43, in a non-league contest.
