Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Peck Pirates (Peck, MI), 73-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yale upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI) to play the Pioneers in a Blue Water Area bout on Thursday, January 5. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Croswell-Lexington won 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against Michigan Center (Michigan Center, MI)

Next up, the Pirates play the North Huron Warriors (Kinde, MI) in a North Central Thumb bout, on Friday, January 6. Peck will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 54-50 non-league loss to Memphis (Memphis, MI).
