In their next game, the Patriots face the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Friday, January 6. Prairiland will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Buffaloes enter the game with a 3-18 record after their 56-36 league loss to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX).

With the defeat, Pleasant Grove moves to 2-9 on the year. The Hawks host North Lamar (Paris, TX) to face the Panthers in a 4A Region II District 15 game on Friday, January 13. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 7-15. North Lamar won 57-47 in their recent non-league game against Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX)
