The Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) basketball knocked off the host San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX), 65-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS 4A District 1 test with a 6-18 record. In their last test, Lake Country Christian went down by St. Stephen's Episcopal (Austin, TX), 60-46, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 17-3 record. They play next when they host China Spring for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. San Angelo Central will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 15-9.
