Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), 46-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Albuquerque Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Chargers host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Capital won 65-57 in their recent non-league bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

Next up, the Sartans clash with the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. St. Pius X will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 59-40 non-league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM).
