West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 31-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Chicago upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fenton (Bensenville, IL) to play the Bison in a Upstate Eight bout on Thursday, January 5. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Fenton lost 57-46 in their recent league bout against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)

Next up, the Blazers play the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold bout, on Friday, January 6. Addison Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 43-40 non-league win over Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL).
