The McLean Tigers (McLean, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Adrian Matadors (Adrian, TX), 91-21 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Lefors (Lefors, TX). The Pirates go into the 1A Region I District 1 test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Lefors walloped Darrouzett (Darrouzett, TX), 48-14, in a league test.
The Matadors now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Texline for a 1A Region I District 3 test on Friday, January 6. Adrian will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 47-45 non-league loss to Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-10.
