The Frost Polar Bears basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Aquilla Cougars to 34 in the Polar Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Mills for a 2A Region II District 12 contest on Friday, January 6.

The Cougars (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX). The Eagles come into the 1A Region IV District 25 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Jonesboro prevailed over Gholson (Waco, TX), 49-24, in a league contest.
