Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA), 54-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastside College Prep upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Notre Dame (Belmont, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Notre Dame won 56-39 in their recent non-league bout against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Basis Independent Silicon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
