Maine High School Basketball - Medomak Valley nudges Belfast

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) basketball squad edged the visiting Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), by a count of 40-33.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Eagles go into the B South bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Lincoln Academy held off Morse (Bath, ME), 45-30, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a B North bout, on Saturday, January 7. Belfast will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
