Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME), 43-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brunswick upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a A South bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) in a B South challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Leavitt will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 70-27 non-league win over Camden Hills (Rockport, ME).
