Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL), 45-21 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Christian Life upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Faith Christian (Dixon, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Faith Christian won 42-33 in their recent league bout against Unity Christian (Fulton, IL)

Next up, the Hawks play the Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) in a Little Ten bout, on Thursday, January 5. Hiawatha will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Huskers come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 31-16 non-league loss to Amboy (Amboy, IL).
