The Claude Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Pringle-Morse Cougars to 21 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Accelerate Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Claude will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-25 non-league loss to Happy (Happy, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 3-8.

The Cougars (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Channing (Channing, TX). The Eagles come into the 1A Region I District 3 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Channing was routed by Accelerate Christian (Amarillo, TX), 66-20, in a non-league contest.
