In Tuesday's non-league outing, the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) basketball squad edged the host Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN), by a count of 38-35.
The Barons (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against New Haven (New Haven, IN). The Bulldogs go into the Northeast 8 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, New Haven was tipped by Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN), 51-42, in a non-league outing.
The Blazers now hold a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Fairfield for a Northeast Corner outing on Friday, January 6. Eastside will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 56-28 league win over Garrett (Garrett, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 13-2.
