Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) and the host Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO), saw Douglas County's basketball squad overcome Evergreen by a tally of 50-37.

With the victory, Douglas County improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-5. Dakota Ridge lost 47-46 in their recent non-league test against Broomfield (Broomfield, CO)

The Cougars now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Standley Lake for a 5A/4A Jeffco test on Thursday, January 5. Evergreen will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 43-39 non-league win over Pomona (Arvada, CO). The Gators record now stands at 7-1.
