Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE), 45-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Freeman upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-2.

Next up, the Raiders play the Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Southern will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to Tri County (DeWitt, NE).
