Grafton Black Hawks (Grafton, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waupun Warriors (Waupun, WI), 56-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grafton upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Black Hawks host Slinger (Slinger, WI) to play the Owls in a North Shore bout on Friday, January 6. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Slinger lost 60-33 in their recent non-league bout against Westfield Area (Westfield, WI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Xavier Hawks (Appleton, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Waupun will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 6-8 record after their 77-27 league win over Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI).
