The Green County Dragons basketball team (Greensburg, KY), was toppled 61-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY)
The Hornets now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton County for a District 16 battle on Friday, January 6. Metcalfe County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Pickett County (Byrdstown, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-8.
The Dragons (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Campbellsville was toppled by Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY), 73-38, in a non-league battle.
