Texas High School Basketball - Hanks edges Riverside

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX), by a margin of 64-60.

The Knights (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders go into the 5A Region I District 2 outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Bel Air got by Fabens (Fabens, TX), 64-8, in a non-league outing.

The Rangers now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fabens for a 4A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, January 6. Riverside will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-8 non-league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.
