In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Highline Pirates (Burien, WA), by a margin of 59-16.
The Royals (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA). The Rams go into the 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Mt. Rainier was trounced by Rogers (Puyallup, WA), 34-28, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen for a 2A KingCo outing on Wednesday, January 4. Highline will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 48-21 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-3.
