The Non Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), dropped 38-29 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX)
The Kangaroos now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springlake-Earth for a 1A Region I District 4 battle on Friday, January 6. Kress will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to Olton (Olton, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-8.
The (40-89) will now prepare for their battle against Rock River (Rock River, WY). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Rock River dropped by Lingle-Fort Laramie (Lingle, WY), 54-40, in a non-league battle.
