Illinois High School Basketball - Salt Fork trounces Milford

The Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) basketball crushed the host Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL), 49-17 in Tuesday's league test.

The Storm (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Buffaloes go into the Vermilion Valley test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Georgetown-Ridge Farm walloped Westville (Westville, IL), 46-43, in a non-league test.

The Bearcats now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Hoopeston for a Vermilion Valley test on Thursday, January 5. Milford will encounter a Cornjerkers squad coming off a 63-31 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Cornjerkers record now stands at 8-7.
