Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 33-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Minooka upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Indians host Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a SouthWest Prairie - East bout on Thursday, January 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Joliet West won 52-23 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Plainfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 48-38 non-league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL).
