Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA), 48-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Moravian Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Notre Dame-Green Pond won 39-37 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a Colonial - North bout, on Thursday, January 5. Salisbury Township will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 59-19 non-league win over Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA).
