Washington High School Basketball - Mount Vernon knocked off by Squalicum

The Squalicum Storm basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Mount Vernon Bulldogs to 41 in the Storm league triumph on Tuesday.
The Storm now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Thursday, January 5. Squalicum will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 57-43 league win over Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-1.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Meridian ran past Mt. Baker (Deming, WA), 51-33, in a league contest.
