The Surrey Mustangs tipped the host Nedrose Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 44-41 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks (Renville, ND) in a B Region 6 District 12 game, on Friday, January 6. Surrey will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
With the defeat, Nedrose moves to 2-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND) to face the Sioux in a B Region 6 District 11 game on Monday, January 9. The Sioux enter the game with a record of 6-2.
