In Tuesday's non-league match, the host North Eugene Highlanders basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the South Salem Saxons.
In their next game, the Highlanders meet the Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR) in a 5A Midwestern match, on Friday, January 6. North Eugene will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.
