Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY), 70-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pulaski County upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Maroons host Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to play the Rockets in a District 47 bout on Friday, January 6. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Rockcastle County won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against South Warren (Bowling Green, KY)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. North Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 54-42 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, KY).
