The Santa Rosa Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Novato Hornets to 32 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piner for a North Bay - Redwood contest on Friday, January 6. Santa Rosa will battle a Prospectors team coming off a 66-39 league loss to Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA). The Prospectors record now stands at 5-7.

The Hornets (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against San Marin (Novato, CA). The Mustangs enter the Marin County contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, San Marin was defeated by Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA), 46-27, in a league contest.
