The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes basketball team (Pojoaque, NM), was nudged 43-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM)
The Panthers now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capital for a non-league battle on Monday, January 9.
The Elks/Elkettes (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Goddard was nudged by Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 59-26, in a non-league battle.
