Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Philip Scotties (Philip, SD), 53-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sully Buttes upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Chargers host Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD) to play the Pirates in a B Region 6 bout on Friday, January 6. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Highmore/Harrold lost 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD)

Next up, the Scotties play the Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) in a B Region 8 bout, on Friday, January 6. Philip will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
