The Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Washington-Wilkes Tigers to 28 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Area for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Prince Avenue Christian will meet a Purple Hurricanes team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 6-6.

The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Indians enter the A D2 Region 8A contest with a 7-6 record.
