In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) basketball squad nipped the host San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots (Amarillo, TX), by a margin of 37-36.
The Comanches (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Gruver (Gruver, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 2A Region I District 1 outing with a 7-0 record.
The Patriots now own a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Temple Christian for a TAPPS 3A District 1 outing on Friday, January 6. San Jacinto Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 53-30 non-league loss to Fort Worth Country Day (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-12.
