The Shrine Catholic Knights routed the visiting University Prep Science & Math Cobra basketball team by a final score of 66-40 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) in a Catholic C-D D game, on Friday, January 6. Shrine Catholic will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 47-46 league loss to Cabrini (Allen Park, MI).

The Cobra (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against University Prep (Detroit, MI). The Panthers come into the Michigan Metro battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, University Prep trounced South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI), 49-41, in a non-league battle.
