The Glen Burnie Gophers basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting North County Knights to 14 in the Gophers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Gophers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arundel for a contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Chesapeake was routed by Crofton (Gambrills, MD), 34-27, in a league contest.
