In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Northwest Rankin Cougars soccer squad scored a close 8-1 win over the Ridgeland Titans.
The Cougars (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.
The Titans (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Petal (Petal, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Petal was overwhelmed by Brandon (Brandon, MS), 8-1, in a league battle.
