The Denver East Angels (Denver, CO) ice hockey bounced the host Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Angels now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Regis Jesuit for a 5A Metro battle on Friday, January 6. Denver East will play a Raiders team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO). The Titans come into the 4A Mountain battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Crested Butte nipped Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
