The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 75-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chargers (7-0) will now prepare for their test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, East Rutherford was trounced by Patton (Morganton, NC), 54-40, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Burns will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 56-32 non-league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-1.
