The Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) basketball knocked off the host Christian Educational Consortium Cougars (Louisville, KY), 40-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY). The Bluehawks go into the non-league test with a 14-0 record.

The Cougars now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fairdale for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5.
