In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Westlake Lions basketball team scored a good 63-50 triumph over the Sandy Creek Patriots.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) in a match, on Friday, January 20. Westlake will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
Next up, the Patriots play the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Sandy Creek will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
