Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD), 88-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arcadia upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Ambassadors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Norfolk Christian won 54-35 in their recent non-league bout against StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the clash with the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Holly Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Ponies go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 75-46 non-league win over Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA).
