The Brushton-Moira Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Peru Nighthawks to 32 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tupper Lake for a Section 10 East contest on Friday, January 26.

The Nighthawks (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Spartans come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Saranac prevailed over Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
