California High School Basketball - Nevada Union thwarted by Burbank

The Nevada Union Miners basketball team (Grass Valley, CA), dropped 57-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Burbank Titans (Sacramento, CA)

The Titans now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laguna Creek for a Metropolitan Conference battle on Friday, January 5. Burbank will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 90-67 non-league loss to Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-6.

The Miners (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras come into the Foothill Valley battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Lincoln beat Sutter (Sutter, CA), 73-54, in a non-league battle.
