Florida High School Basketball - Canterbury overwhelmed by Sumner

The Sumner Stingrays basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Canterbury Crusaders to 32 in the Stingrays non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Stingrays now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palm Harbor University for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Sumner will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 52-40 non-league win over Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-8.
The Crusaders (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL). The Lions come into the 2A District 10 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Lakeside Christian triumphed over Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL), 71-62, in a non-league contest.
