The Central Regional Golden Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ranney to 46 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Toms River South for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Central Regional will meet a Indians team coming off a 75-62 non-league loss to Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 6-2.
The (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Holmdel ran past Toms River North (Toms River, NJ), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
